Prettysm sure the word 'Father' is an unfinished guilt sentence of 'Father...I'm so sorry, I've failed you...'
I mean after all...he was adopted into the family. His step father was kind anough to take him under his family's wings...and here he is... lusting after his step younger brother. I guess? I might be wrong. Or it's just me not wanting our mc to actually be romantically in love with his step father out of appreciation and mistook that as something else the raws doesn't gives me much of a closure unless it's translated
