I'll admit my approach to this topic was extremely bad, so I will apologize to them for that. And no, they don't need to give me any excuses, but yet they (and you) do. If you're gonna ship something toxic then at least own it, don't try to justify it with "it's only fiction" etc. I can't stop anyone from shipping whatever, but I at least want them to be aware that it's not okay. And hey, it does affect reality. It normalizes pedophilic relationships for young people, I know it did for me when I was a teen. People can have different perspective and view towards fiction and real life, there’s a boundary where people can enjoy things as long as they stay in fiction but not tolerating it in real life, as for me i’ve always been fully aware what to not in real life that i found interesting in fiction.
