I know no one's going to agree but I was so disappointed when Hirose got a girlfriend in that one chapter that I had to drop this. I know they broke up quickly and that he wasn't into her that much but I was still upset I almost teared up.

i say this to reassure you but none of that happened, and i have no idea where that assumption came from they only went on a blind date and i think the reason san wanted geum to meet her was to get his approval since their date went well. but also this memory loss arc was really hinted at in previous seasons and had been building up ever since we found out 704 lost his memories + san after possession because of hwan
im also a long time reader of this story as well but the final season barely started + a lot of the things happening between them aren’t out of nowhere. san had a life before eunjae, so imo it wouldn’t make sense to suddenly have a magnetic pull towards him. to me it’ll be interesting again watching san be jealous of people who pursue eunjae or slowly start to be interested in him. it’s very much a slow burn (again)
