I don’t know why the default response to being called out for terrible behavior is always “I hope it makes you feel better about your life”. My life isn’t perfect but I’m content and blessed and it’s my life, and while you have a right to post what you want on the internet I also have a right to respond and tell you that you’re gross for encouraging something morally incorrect because it’s just fiction. My cussing you out doesn’t have to do with me being unhappy with my life, it has to do with 1. Im not great at just ignoring bad people and 2. Im very outspoken on things im passionate about, and one of those things are how damaging the mindset you have and the fetishizing you do is in real life, but you don’t see that because it’s “just fiction”.

I am a firm believer in that what is morally correct in real life should still be morally correct when indulging in media. I understand that what is morally correct sometimes waivers and depends from person to person; but the general consensus is that things like incest, rape, and pedophilia are wrong, and those things should be kept that way.

The encouragement of this mindset because it’s “just fiction” can lead into “it’s not that serious” and “it doesn’t hurt anyone” until it does escalate to a point of ruin.

To put it in the simplest way, your encouragement of this mindset may suit you with your life, but if someone with a similar mindset sees your comments they’ll be encouraged that the way they think is okay when it’s not, and if that person is known more publicly or socially and they continue to sprout these idea, they’ll eventually get heavy backlash which only aids to worsen their mental state.

The last thing I’ll say to you is that you really need to think about why this mindset can be and is damaging, and how the fetishization of gay relationships especially as a girl is wrong.
