I don't read the novel so although I can feel that a lot of details has gone missing, it doesn't feel like it takes away the story much until ch 44. But what's going on with ch 45? It looks like they put 4 different events together, it's not even funny. They skip everything, there is zero explanation about things, and they just show snippets of events. What is it, a movie trailer?
I mean, I am grateful for their work, but don't they should put more effort to make this more readable? I'm sorry, but the way they butchered the original story, it looks like a form of disrespect to the original author. I don't know if the original author really works closely with this adaptation or not, but starting now, he/she should care a bit more. I just finished binge-reading the last human, which I really like. So far, this one has better art, but tbh the rest is nothing special. Maybe because the slow pacing or how similar it is to the other zombie reincarnation manga, it's not really interesting. The last human, for example, has integrated the cultivation genre so the fights are unpredictable and despite rather ridiculous, it is very entertaining. Moreover, the MC in the last human has a very clear goals from the start: to save his best friend and his future girlfriend. But here the MC is just trying to survive, so make it less impactful. But I am still gonna follow this to see where it goes. Hopefully it is getting better.
