I don't trust him either tbh. Something's off about him. Can't wait to find out the truth! Some troubled past? Pfffbahahahha.

I've been waiting for this to end so I can ask: Did Yuji end up canon trans/genderqueer? Or was it brushed off as crossdressing, a result of trauma, or some other crap?

    Meriot_Heartsfield August 21, 2019 7:35 pm

I'd say that Yuji is canon trans/genderqueer, but decided to keep dressing/looking like a man. I think it's because Yuji and the person from the bar both seem to think that life willbe easier this way.
Or at least, that's how I interpreted it.

more than feeling that it's better or easier, I think they truly believe they're not women so they preferred not to try and transition, which is very wrong cuz they clearly are, but we'll what else can we do? :/

ImInvisible May 18, 2019 4:42 am

I'm so pissed off at how precious this was.

ImInvisible May 15, 2019 4:43 am

I'm pissed as fuck. How can you spew all that anti-rape stuff for chapters then "heat is not an excuse for rape" stuff for PAGES and get my hopes up then turn around and have him COMMIT RAPE WITH HIS HEAT AS AN EXCUSE?

ImInvisible May 12, 2019 9:04 am

Wow this is such an unhealthy relationship. I mean, obviously Hotta didn't even enter it for anything but shady reasons. And I don't know what Kashiwagi's true feelings are but either way, he's acting mighty immature and like he really doesn't understand social cues and morality. Kinda unsettling.

ImInvisible May 9, 2019 8:50 am

This is a really weird plot excuse to write smut-smut.

ImInvisible May 9, 2019 8:43 am

The art is nice but the characters are inconsistent and all kind of idiots? ( ̄∇ ̄")I don't think the manga takes itself seriously, so I probably shouldn't take it seriously either but it's still hard to enjoy when the characters actions and personalities are all over the place

ImInvisible May 6, 2019 9:20 am

I really need someone to license this on English so I can buy the volumes.

ImInvisible May 4, 2019 5:25 pm

Asada wants your ass

ImInvisible April 26, 2019 3:09 am

The man is kind of a jerk, but the college guy is cute.

Maybe he's being such an ass because he suspects he might also be gay himself but doesn't want to travel down that road of self-discovery.

    AnnieBanannie April 26, 2019 3:39 am

But I mean like he let the college guy stay with him for a week and that already was incredibly nice of him to do so. The college kid being gay was out of no where so ofc a straight male from a country not as open to gay people is shocked lmao. Even thought he went too far to kick him out I wouldn’t call him a jerk.
    ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Also he’ll go down that road of self discovery either way lmao this is some sweet sweet yaoi after all.

I don't think he's a jerk at all. If you're a heterosexual, would you let a random man stay at your place?
The uke (I'm assuming he is) did and that's already big hearted of him.

    simoney April 26, 2019 4:16 am

he ain't weird :/ i wouldn't let a random person in my house. Plus it's normal to be cautious :///

    kei April 26, 2019 7:12 am

I also dont think he’s a jerk... the guy was already very conflicted between letting him stay or not (leaning more towards not letting him stay ofc)... and he just baaarely allowed the decision to let him stay. But then the other guy says he’s gay... and I think it’s reasonable of him to change his mind based on that (he’s just being cautious). You can be unprejudiced but still be cautious. (A girl wouldn’t let a random guy stay in her house but that doesn’t mean she’s prejudiced).

    ImInvisible May 3, 2019 6:50 am

It's not that he said no you can't stay b/c you're a stranger that I said made him kind of a jerk. It's that he agreed at first and then forcefully shoved him out when the dude said he was gay. I get the jump cut and forcefulness was maybe supposed to be comedic but straight people assuming gay people will go after anyone is a common damaging stereotype. And that he backtracked his humanity and compassion like that. That's why I said kind of a jerk.

But what happened in the chapter 2 is totally reasonable considering what the guy did the night before.
Though, I am still suspicious that he's also repressing the fact that he himself is gay. I mean, I've been closeted and he reminds me a lot of me and my gay friends.

I understand your point better now of how the mc was fearful of the gay guy and I am also bitter that those who are straight have doubts of the gay people around them as I am also closeted as well but this is Japan. Most Asian countries do not accept gay people as well, people. Personally,I’m Chinese and my parents and my older family members definitely do not support gay people. It does suck however Japan is thankfully more accepting of LBGTQ people. (I mean come on with all this yaoi and yuri?) But what is most important is that this is just a yaoi manga that is made for people to enjoy and has events that don’t really happen in real life and for just comedic purposes. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Yuri and yaoi are fiction and entertainment (and often fetishism) and no indication of actual LGBT people having rights and being treated fairly. Yaoi all you want, gay men in Japan are still marrying women to please their families. People still get fired or have to leave their jobs due to harassment for being gay. The gay guy here is even lying to his mom. That's very real. Watch Gaycation on YouTube, Japan edition. It's very enlightening and educational. Things are certainly improving but never mistake the existence of entertainment for women as an indicator of the real lives of gay men.
