I REALLY wanted the MC in "Kiss Him Not Me" to end up with the girl who likes to cosplay as a man, which would have helped the series role as a spoof & subvert the reverse harem genre, but noooo.... it had to become the very thing it was making fun of. & she picked the most obvious guy too.
I'm full of so many emotions right now. Irritation at the waste of time. Disappointment the direction the plot went in. Pity for the author. I just... I can't even right now. Why? I feel so bad for the author omg. I could never put out this type of story with a good conscience, even if I was on my death bed.
The manhua is cancelled because the author's producers fired the art company creating it. The art company had some troll employee who talked trash about the author and series on Chinese social media. The art company sucked at handling the situation. Fans of the author were mad and hated the art too, thinking it was purposefully drawn bad. So the author's producers fired the company to protect the author and series.
The translators put a note explaining on their tumblr. Just Google it.
