I'm sorry but i couldn't get into that backstory about the pale ass aboriginals. The whole use of real life people who are already mysticised and misunderstood for the supernatural aspect seems vaguely racist but hey, it's a BL webtoon from Korea. My expectations about social and racial awareness aren't high to begin with.
The fact that it isn't based on facts or history is what makes it racist. Have you ever thought about the fact that it's always brown people that're used? It's clearly because no one gives af about the actual culture. Yet when they fuck with European culture, it's some rich, glamorous half-Asian CEO or actor. Like, come on.
Same, class president, same.
It's not healthy to be hung up for years on someone you met one summer. "Give me my youth back" is a sign he feels like he missed out because he was so hung up. It's not as if Naoki consciously took it but if he didn't show up at their promised time, he should've never showed up. It's not cute to lead someone on, and it's not healthy if you're doing it because you have shit to work out. You're a grown ass man and should know better than to be selfish like that. I bet the class president and Minato would get together if class president had grown some balls and confessed. Much healthier relationship.
Even though Junwoo said harsh things, Wooyeon handled that all wrong to begin with. I can totally understand where Junwoo is coming from thinking Wooyeon is looking down on him. He tries to solve things by babying him and protecting him and having sex with him but Junwoo doesn't need that shxt. It's just going to increase feelings of victimization and dependency. Wooyeon is doing a HORRIBLE job helping Junwoo so I don't blame Junwoo for blowing up. Things crescendoed. He has sex with this dude but feels completely alone which is reasonable with Wooyeon won't speak shxt about himself. Wooyeon wants to help him for some personal reasons he won't disclose but Junwoo doesn't need a person to save him, especially not by these means.
I would support him going to the US with somebody else. Because he does need a change in environment and therapy.
I wouldn’t blame Wooyeon for behaving the way he does either. Honestly, Chanbit should not have asked Wooyeon to help Junwoo in the first place because Wooyeon is not in a good place either. Based on what he said, it seemed like he was also struggling with suicide ideation. The author also seems to suggest that he had dealt with the death of a past lover. I mean, look at the way he would react physiologically (shakes, throwing up...) when he sees Junwoo suffering or relating to his depression. It’s likely a reaction to trauma as well. I think he’s here for Junwoo because he wants to save someone who is at the brink of death unlike when he wasn’t able to before. It is also likely a process of saving himself. Chanbit really should have asked someone who was in a better mental space to help Junwoo out for the sake of both of them.
You should've confessed the other stuff about your job first.
