Does anyone know the title of this one manga/hwa/hua, the beginning was about a lot of people surrounding this one person because of a book that was prohibited or something like that. A lot of people including the MC (a dude) died even though they were innocent. The mc reincarnated into a different body but was still in the same world and everything. He reincarnated into the evil/villain side where the book originated from. He was originally weak, and had to train with thousands of other people, they would compete until there were only a number of people left. And I don’t remember the rest. Please help me out on finding the title!!!

I would suggest Holy Chef, Crazy Empress and Peerless Alchemist if you like this they have a similar feel about them but they have completely different plots.
If you haven’t read it yet, ‘Peerless Alchemist’ is quite similar. I think it’s a good read. ‘Fenglin tianxia - Wangfei shisansui’ and ‘Volcanic Age’ are also good.

So I’m looking for this manga and there is this one scene where the mc (a female) basically turns off all of her emotions and everything and she cant feel anything anymore. She remembers from her last life a video that she saw on tv, and tried it since she was being tortured. Right before she was going to get killed, her dad barged in and killed the magician (which was torturing her).
