I hate being that person who brings up "that" chapter again, but I think this is a re-attempt at the discriminatory theme with Hyun, except it's financial discrimination instead of racial discrimination. I'm sad the original arc had to go even though personally I think the author didn't have bad intentions behind it. This whole manhwa, after all, is supposed to talk about problematic topics. So I am really excited to see how the current topic gets addressed with Hyun and maybe get more peeks into his life in the US / his ideals (´∩。• ᵕ •。∩`) Also don't fight me on this comment because we're tired of this manhwa being boiled down to "that"
Yeah, they're not exactly the most open minded of people from what I've seen;; Of course POC deals with constant racism and a WHOLE LOT of other concerns that is more prominent and definitely should be addressed, but I think it would have been an interesting story to see racism/bullying going unchecked/unbelieved because it's the other way around. Like, "being racist to a POC? Atrocious! But a POC being racist to you? LMAO suck it up"... kinda plot. Which definitely wouldn't be as realistic because... yeah. But still interesting idea to talk about imo
I noticed how she felt oddly more calm but man I was NOT expecting it to be the mom's POV instead cos that was a smoooooooth twist
