Why are people mad at the placeholders nowadays especially if it helps the uploader /scanalator and they upload it the same time as the new chapter so you won't get multiple updates. If I'm reading something for free I'm ok with them taking their liberties when uploading the product they paid for.

I agree. It hurts to see this series get wasted because of the slow update. I've read the raws of the manhwa and finished the novel long ago. Safe to say This story is peak!! ML is such a green flag and their chemistry is so goodddd ! I especially loved the humor the author uses XD

They’re not free “bro” they’re originally from ridi for 300 won per chapter. The free raws are literally just pirated for Korean readers so again point stands this reader is benefiting off of other ppl who bought it and posted it with English ones even taking their time to translate it but complaining about it on a free pirated site so again they can go and read the raws and translate it themselves

I’m with you. The sense of entitlement is so bizarre. Moonflower doesn’t have to be translating, cleaning up the art, and then updating these works at all. And they have the best translations and the best footnotes. Honestly god bless them.

Most scan teams purchase their raws from the source, so it really isn't "free" in the grand scheme of things.
Also, most scan teams who have multiple projects on the go will somewhat base their update schedule on reader interest. If a series has less interest, it gets popped on a slower update schedule. Moonflower Gem Scans seems to have quite a few ongoing, many of which are pretty popular, so it's understandable.
But another thing to consider is how friggen complex the translation for series like this. This could never ever be done through machine translation because AI doesn't pick up on cultural nuance.
So maybe just be thankful that you get to read this stellar translation on someone else's dime. Mm'kay?
