My opiniom here, but I dont think Khaol deserves a "happily ever after". He literally mistreated/neglected every one of his brides, and even when Khaveri directly said that he should let him go because he was "alive" in the underworld for too long now, instead of letting him go he straight up killed someone to bring him back. Khaveri deserves a happily ever after, not Khaol.
Thank you for your opinion I'm not sure on what part did Kaol mistreated her brides (I am only sure on what he did to River). But, people also mistreated Khaol before and I don't blame him that he is really finding it hard to trust people. I am just hoping that he will have a redemption arc and be happy with Khaveri in their next life because honestly, everyone deserves to be happy.
