the narrative is all over the place and never stays consistent with regards to some of the characters impressions of each other but depending on which version it is, I might have some problems with it. arhad said he had fallen in love with lianna from the moment they first met.. or thats what the narrative tells us in the recent flashback anyways which kind of conflicts with the: "he was obsessed with her because be saw her [skill] and wanted her sword for himself" pretense for his interest they gave in the earlier chapters.. but he had all his memories in that life too so he would have been still in love with her right? THEN- during arhads confession he stated "at first he saw her only for her sword, and then he took interest in the person holding that sword" which is it?
It would be a let down if his only reasons for acknowledging lianna's sword from the start might have been simply because she was a woman he was attracted too and he was speaking out of bias, rather then it being the other way around which is what bothered me.. because the story has put such a heavy emphasis on her PRIDE as a swordwoman its a major point to her character, if she's not recognized for that and its only because of other influences, what's the point? I'm not saying I hate the story, but I dont like how they are basically saying MC wasted her time. both because once he got all of the devil shards he would be waay stronger then her no matter how hard she trained, and because of the insinuation that his "special interest" from the start was due to her gender all along (I think she would hate that too) either way shes not being recognized for her sword.
by the time she eventually does beat him.. some time after kids and marriage I suppose.. the payoff will be underwhelming because everything she learned can be credited back to it being because of arhads "guidance" anyways (teacher/student dynamic, rather then equals) I kind of wish she went rogue for a few months, got some wise toad sage training in divine power against arhads advice, and came back after having gotten stronger on her own (anyone else teaching her world have been fine, just not her main rival) having your rival lick your wounded pride for you, and give you a pep talk is kinda kills the tension and anticipation..
you'll have to pardon the example: naruto never got help from sasuke in beating him right? they both took their own paths which eventually converged and by that point they both had grown stronger and more experienced independently in their own ways, only to finally settle the score by the end. thats what I was hoping for with these two characters..
if their final fight is just some half-assed victory on her end just to tie up some loose plot threads, and she doesnt completely curb stomp arhad like Saitama, I'll flip my shit
They have always been skirting around the topic so as to keep the illusion the MC was the most OP of the bunch, but now that we see our protagonists limits when fighting and what [Mana] can do in combat, I'm curious how she would fair against someone like Mikail or the Prince for instance? They have jewels in their chests. surely they aren't just a neat accessory choice? we have yet to see them fight seriously..
I think they already have expertise fighting with mana, actually.. I think our main lead might be the weakest one if she's not fighting against cannon fodder.. which is kind of disappointing when they spent so much time hyping her abilities up. I mean, shes still a gifted learner but if her friend (if thats who he really is) can create shock waves like that when he's been in that world the same amount of time, she's kind of had a slow start... he was probably filled in about mana a lot sooner

I think her former teammate been reincarnated from the get go. Kasia took a while because she was in hell. She was merely given a 2nd chance last minute. Her soul suffered for a long time... I guess the author did point out that FL killed innocent lives...what we know so far from the former teammate is he betrayed and killed Kasia, but the author did not show if his sin is equivalent to Kasia's... And looking at his rank and knowledge about their current world... He must been reincarnated since birth

I dont like how low key shallow and manipulative she is, she's fine with him having insecurities about his looks because it works out better for her that way? its really fucking selfish and monopolizing, but the story treats it like just a cute quirk of hers
she is not doing it because she want to.. if you go back a few chapters you will realie that the curse forbided her to do so.. if she tell him HE WILL DIE.. that is the reason she is not telling him.. she is strong and kind.. she want to look for a way to break the curse but she dosnt know how, am pretty sure we will how she will uncover that.
Also her mother told him that too, and to his dad and it was all because the curse, but like the girls love them they will stay with them in whatever way they can and protect them (the mom and our girl)
from where I read she doesnt go out of her way to try & fix his problem, despite the fact he's clearly been emotionally abused (she's an enabler somewhat) making him extra dependent in her since shes the only one who knows the truth. getting in the way and keeping him isolated and out of reach of interacting with others that might possibly alleviate those insecurities for ultimately her own petty self interests (now the author might try to redeem her a bit by making all of the other woman who take interest in him "evil" or something, but so far to me she just looks like a hypocrite) its cool if you like her. I can see how a lot of readers feel like shes relatable in that she likes hot men and jokes about it all the time but so far I'm not into it. maybe this will change after some development, I hope this gets better

Look guys, I know you want to defend against criticism of something you like but please DO avoid revealing crucial plot points or spoilers I (and others) never asked for, I've already stated a few times now that I had just started reading when I had made those posts and I'm free to express any thoughts/feelings I have about the main lead from where I'm reading at without getting bombarded with insinuations of any kind on my character for it, if your liking her character I'm glad for you but this kind of protagonist isn't my up of tea.
