i stopped reading this after aizen had finally been defeated because i felt like the manga kept getting dragged on by uninteresting arcs...

Meh, the newest arc is dragging along and is pretty full of unbelievable stuff, but as I am a masochist - I have been reading it wanting to know how it ends. There is an arc in between as well ...

well it gets a bit interesting because you learn how ichigo's dad met his mom and it kinda explains how ichigo obtained such great power for a sub shinigami in a short time also. I have to admit there is some parts where some chapters are a bit plain that goes on for a while but there were lots of surprises happening. I feel like they are covering as much as they can because I did hear from a few people that the manga will end in the near future so it makes some sense.
