No, the countess (Aria's mom) was a prostitue and coudn't remember the man who is Aria's father, who actually is the heir to a Duke in a different country (and he's also a son from the imperial family from the Empire)... soooo she has extremely high status actually, as a daughter from a Duke and a descedant belonging to a branch of the emperial family.
Well, the current countess was a prostitute and did the job with a lot of people. There was this man who was so beautiful, he seemed like a woman (Aria looks like the carbon copy of him according to the novel).

You guys are in for a riiiiiiiide~ i finished reading the novel, and what can i say? The crown prince, otherwise known as the handsome man with black hair and blue eyes is a TOTAL sucker for Aria. Pffff he even said he would sell the empire if Aria wishes for it. Ughhhh how can a male lead be this charismatic.
