I binged the entire manga overnight after watching the anime. Overall, it's solid and I really appreciate that Kafka actually looks like a normal 32-year-old dude instead of one of those polished ikemen types.
My only real gripe is that he barely gets any panel time. Honestly, I’m not that invested in the other characters, even though the fight scenes are enjoyable.
I just want more Kafka/Kaiju No. 8, and luckily, we’re finally getting that. But man, I can’t imagine reading this weekly (or whatever the schedule was) and barely seeing the titular character. That would’ve killed the hype for me.

this manhwa reminds me so much of the movie Triangle.

I don't know if you've seen it but spoiler Warning for Triangle!
.......
I had to use ChatGPT to describe this movie because I couldn’t figure out how to explain it coherently lol.

Triangle is a psychological horror film that follows Jess, a woman who goes on a sailing trip with friends. After a storm capsizes their boat, they board an abandoned ocean liner, where strange and deadly events unfold. As Jess tries to survive, she slowly realizes that everything happening has happened before—and will happen again. The deeper she goes, the more she uncovers a horrifying cycle of violence, desperation, and inescapable fate.

I think it's similar to this manhwa in terms of the general vibe and the loop thing.
As an adult who sometimes read stories where the characters are in high school, them looking like grown men kind of makes me feel less of a sinner haha.
