I binged the entire manga overnight after watching the anime. Overall, it's solid and I really appreciate that Kafka actually looks like a normal 32-year-old dude instead of one of those polished ikemen types.
My only real gripe is that he barely gets any panel time. Honestly, I’m not that invested in the other characters, even though the fight scenes are enjoyable.
I just want more Kafka/Kaiju No. 8, and luckily, we’re finally getting that. But man, I can’t imagine reading this weekly (or whatever the schedule was) and barely seeing the titular character. That would’ve killed the hype for me.
In my head, Kei has some form of neurodivergence which is why he always felt different and wasn't very social.
why is rape still even a thing in these stories? it's not like it's even necessary to the plot. I'm so disappointed bc I love the artstyle and how things are going so far.
it also makes me wonder what's going on in the mind of the author.
I like the emo-ness of it..Some parts of the plot could use more development but the smut is well done.
I think there's an old computer with a floppy drive in the room where Bada and Hyungshin talked that I think would be useful in the future especially now that we know that Bada is a CE major.
