Ughh I know Jeannette is a victim to but her mindset is kinda selfish. She gets upset that Athy isn't being all chummy with her but if any normal person would think that their situation is awkward.
When Anastacius said he's the emperor now Jeannette should've put two and two together. That her father wants to overthrow his brother.
Also this might be just me but the fact that he's purposely making Jeannette stay at the Empress's room might make the nobles think that she'll be the crowned princess or something....
All in all them being in the palace is good because Athy can keep a closer eye on them but since the enemy is big, if nothing is done soon Athy and Claude might be in danger...
