It starts off with Suchae freshly retired from the military. He's heading on a bus but makes a pit stop to the bathroom first. In the stall next to him some guy is jacking off, and Suchae is mildly freaked out. As he's heading on the bus, he notices the guy from the bathroom come out, totally his type, but is still freaked out by the fact that he was jerking off. When they reach their destination Suchae heads off to an old lady's guest house who has gone mentally ill from old age and thinks Suchae is her grandson. Suchae stays to help her out and keep things in order with other people(she fought a lot of people apparently) and eventually Suchae walks into a homeless man, who Suchae recognizes from the bus. Suchae takes him in and bathes him and serves him some proper food, because this man, Gusam, his name, has been on the run for two years as a murder suspect. One night, Suchae cant help himself anymore and sleeps with Gusam, and they gradually fall in love. They then decide to set out to travel more and they eventually get mobbed by a crowd and try to contact the police (because he is a murder suspect and the offer was 2 million won) but they stage a stunt where Gusam threatens to take Suchae's life if nobody backed off. They stage it and run away, breaking up in the process. Then after a while of wandering, They find each other again. Because they were now both anted suspects, they exchanged their clothes in a donation box and left for another city where an old man lets them stay. During this whole entire time, Gusam's old 'friends' are giving police tips on how Gusam supposedly caused the murder. The police also severely abused a different suspect who was furious with them. The old man letting them stay then rapes Suchae and Suchae kills him. Gusam, out of anger goes and tries to cut the man's body up but then can't, making it apparent that he did not murder anyone from his case. Gusam then tries to break up with Suchae because he feels guilty for them both having to be on the run. Suchae tells gusam to stop thinking, and comes up with a way to finally 'get to live freely.' The two head on a bus and head to the ocean. in the midle of it, they bump into a stranger who gives the police a tip. Gusam and Suchae then walk out into the ocean as the police pull up. One of the detectives, the good one, tries to talk them out of it while the bad detective tries to shoot the couple. The crew then successfully gets the gun away from the bad detective and suddenly the stranger appears, and turned out to be the guy that the detective caused trauma to. he then takes the gun and shoots the bad detective while the crew shoots him. Gusam and Suchae then further proceed to walk out into the cold ocean wearing bags filled with weight. We then see a clip of the old lady worrying about Suchae and Gusam, holding a picture while worrying and hoping that they're alright. We then see one last scene of Suchae and Gusam running on the beach happily, implying that they have died and are happily enjoying the afterlife.
