I didn"t meant it like I'm making a theory that the dad cheated then yoshimi is made. I'm just really baffled at the resemblance. Like when you're in the streets and you see a cute dress you'd say "oh that could pass as my clothing for my date later" so it's just a statement holding no ill will but only happiness.

Remember Jian yi's scary back story? The one where he dreamed that he was a baby when his mom was just holding him and sobbing when his dad came to kiss his mom, all bloodied and weary? Also, I have to point this out that at the beginning of this story, both of them are technically adults. Zhang Zhen Xi is in university and Jian Yi is working hard to get to the same uni as he is.
Remember this chapter we had in Zhang Zhen Xi's point of view where he talks about how mysteriously Jian Yi had disappeared on the second day of high school?
The latest chapters show them in middle school, and I know this because of their uniforms, man. Middle school uniform is basically a white shirt and black pants for boys. How do I know this? Well, in the same chapter that Zhang Zhen Xi was talking about Jian Yi (about knowing the loud guy since his childhood and all that), they were shown in their white shirt and black pants. And Zhang Zhen Xi said that they were in middle school and that Jian Ying was his best friend at that time (check out that chapter if you are not sure). AND I HAVE TO REPEAT THAT ZHANG ZHEN XI TOLD THAT JIAN YI DISAPPEARED ON THE SECOND DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL, WHICH MEANS SOMETHING MUST HAVE HAPPENED TO HIM. WHEN ASKED BY ZHANG ZHEN XI, JIAN YI SAID THAT SOME UNKNOWN MEN CAME TO TAKE HIM TO HIS DAD
OOPS. I THINK I WROTE THE LAST PART ALMOST ENTIRELY IN CAPS. BASICALLY, WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS, THE STORY LINE IS NOT ENTIRELY LINEAR (it is not following a very specific timeline)
BOTH OF THE BOYS ARE IN STILL IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AS OF THIS CHAPTER, BUT AFTER MIDDLE SCHOOL COMES HIGH SCHOOL AND FUCK IT, JIAN YI IS GONNA DISAPPEAR OFF TO SOMEWHERE ELSE ON THE SECOND DAY AND WILL NOT ENCOUNTER XI UNTIL HE HAS GRADUATED AND IS IN UNIVERSITY????!!!!




FEAR NOT, PEOPLE WHO ARE READING THIS. AT LEAST WE KNOW THAT THE BOYS END UP HAVING A PRETTY DOMESTIC LIFE (WORKING TOGETHER IN A MAID CAFE is a hilarious example) AS ADULTS TOGETHER. I KNOW OLD XIAN WOULDN'T MAKE US SAD. THIS IS JUST MY WILD CRAZY IMAGINATION GOING ALL OUT. SORRY FOR THIS.

You guys were the reason why I wasn't losing my sanity when the updates were not as regular (found out later that the guy who is the artist of this manga went with his editor for a vacation in Tokyo, hence the delay. One of the comments here at Manga go informed me of that.)

Really, if took me a sleepless two hrs at night to figure out that huge ass paragraph you are seeing there. Hehe

Shit. Now I'm really sad. That means that something bad is going to happen. And that they're not gonna progress at all, as at tye beginning of the manga they are in the same place as now. :(

Hey, don't worry dude. I have something to cheer you up. Remember their kiss scene as adults in the start of the manga? Of course, a-xi punched Jian Yi afterwards, but remember the split second of indecision when he was just staring at Jian Yi intensely? My theory is that Jian Yi must have had confessed to a-Xi at some point or the other, with the way the latter isn't THAT surprised as adults whenever Jian Yi comes to kiss him or touch him or whatever. And we'll get some pretty sweet moments in this manga. That is basically the beauty of it. Do you want things to be rushed like any standard yaoi manga? No. There has got to be some conflict to spice things up.

Another thing to make you happy - remember the chapter (which is an art insert, btw) where Jian Yi is dressed in overalls and Zhan Zheng Xi is in a bunny costume? It is clear that both of them are adults in that one, working in some random job. Anyway, when Jian Yi grabs the bunny's crotch, did you see the 'flower' spring up suddenly? XD AND I AM 100 PERCENT SURE THAT THAT FLOWER IS A EUPHEMISM FOR DICK. WHICH SHOWS THAT ZHANG ZHEN XI IS ATTRACTED TO JIAN YI.

Haha, thanks. :D But you know, the fact that I'm sad that things are gonna turn bad (for a while) doesn't mean that I think it's bad. I love this manga because it's not rushed or cliched like many others. :) It's like with watching a good drama: you cry because it's touching and because it's so beautiful. Here is the same. That is one of the most original mangas I've ever read. But the problem is that I love it so much that characters became real in my mind, and I feel deep sympathy for Jian Yi and am terrified of the chapters-to-come in which he's gonna get hurt.

I understand your point completely and I get what you said about 19 days being a good drama. Like many others out there in the comments, I am terrified of what may happen to Jian Yi in the upcoming chapters. And I can totally related with getting too involved with the characters. I just wanted to cheer you up, seeing that most of us here are anxious for our babe, Jian Yi.
Man, but if Jian Yi does disappear gor a long while, then A-Xi would be utterly heartbroken. (╥﹏╥)

he was lonely. that, i'm sure of. if you go back to earlier chapters (when they are adults) a-xi said that he don't want to see Jian yi yet. It's as if he don't know how to face his confused feelings. The loneliness when jian yi disappeared, the fear that he'll never come back, and yet jian yi suddenly appeared. Mixed feelings all over

But I still get the impression that they were much closer before Jian Yi disappeared than after he returned. And that's what makes me mostly unhappy. Do you also see them like that?
Well, I guess I need to read it again from the beginning and maybe I'll change my mind, hopefully...
