I feel the same too. I've personally tried to read yuris out of curiosity, but I felt somewhat uncomfortable but don't get me wrong, I have nothing against it. Like what others have said, we all have our preferences. :))
it really just depends on the romance/yaoi/yuri. i haven't read much yuri but its pretty good (it just depends i haven't read sexual ones yet). yaoi is ehh there's a lot of toxic yaois for some reason? and most of them have rape its weird asf LOL and for just straight relationships or "normal" romance it can either be cringey as fuck or it's super good and its cute. no in betweens (maybe 1), other than that romances really just depend on what story you prefer.
