Maybe it's because he couldn't be with the only person who showed that she loved him. Idk but i liked this story regardless. I could tell from early in the story he would probably kill himself though
I think Taeyoung just lost the beauty that he wants to relay on his films which is Ami which is symbolized by that movie poster "Monster". He literally lost all the good in his life including the place where there are memories of him being with Ami.
