I remember reading this very striking body horror manga and its main story centered around a trans man who streams his hunting with friends. At the end of the story he got top surgery and transitioned and also made up with his father. The body horror part was him—pre-transition—dreaming about someone cutting off his breasts.
The manga also had side stories! The one that stuck with me the most was about a boy who is in a conflict with his mother. I think he had the power to deeply connect with people's emotions or something like that. When he connects with his mother, he experiences the pain of birth and the joy of seeing your child for the first time. The scene showed his head brutally splitting open to reveal a baby that he then held in his arms. It ended with a large panel of his mother smiling down at him as a baby. It was wordless, gruesome, and incredibly beautiful. It was this scene that really got me attached to this manga.
I thought I saved this manga, but I guess I either didn't or couldn't find it... If you know it, please let me know and maybe even link it!
Np! Also unrelated, but the author of the first chapter you were talking about also illustrated one of Fujimotos oneshots. It's a pretty useless piece of info, but it's been in my head for a long time.

That's actually really interesting, thanks for telling me!
