so Im too lazy to go looking for release dates but...:
1. a warrior "father figure"
2. a priest "mother figure"
3. an elderly wizard guardian
4. he's named "Will"
.... just at a glance it says its a copy of Saihate no Paladin knock off.
(is there some explanation??? like its the same creator or.... it's the original, but sucks.... etc etc...)
I feel like the last extra turned so... meta. The assault charge seemed kinda random to pop up... but considering a side story with Sei and his bf was about an Alpha getting sex charges on him for attacking his omega friend he wanted to be paired with, it makes sense.
I didnt think it was out of place... but it felt more of a slight after thought. Like I was thinking she would've gotten advice from him how to be a more powerful or commanding person as an Omega.... and maybe he would be the one to suggest a lawsuit, rather than her outright suggesting it. Even in Law and Order shows, victims are reluctant to face their abuser.
Honestly I was confused with the favorability system when they introduced the second brother and how he reacted even with a negative favorability score. He seemed like he cared but due to the choices he got fed up. You realize why he was in the negatives later, but he felt more agitated in the positives than he was when they first met. I'd go as far as saying the whole house's treatment of the character was very up and down. the maid that turns a new leaf so rapidly.. and the butler who didnt appear aggressive, just rude suddenly became subservient after a tongue lashing... then the brother and father who just wanted to be noticed as relatives... (the whole... she called me "father/brother" cliche etc etc...)
I DO like how the story isn't bogged down with random isekai powers that kinda dominate the story for no reason. The plot actually tries to tie into the girls (potentially) former life. Assuming this is an isekai, most stories would mention the main character got hit by a bus...died in some rush job and then just never mentions it ever again. Also... I guess even tho i griped about the whiplash, I think overall I don't mind it... because I suppose the alternative would've been a long boring story about characters we barely need to know about. (but it would totally be better if we got to see other POVs so the whiplash isn't as extreme)
assuming the author is the actual author and not some egomaniac assuming to be the author themself... this is a novel take on a relationship between a manga site and creator.
I know plenty of mangakas and authors who blow up about their work being released without their consent where fans can secretly enjoy it, but I think its clear that a new model needs to be taken instead of just releasing to a small group when it's evident that fans are EVERYWHERE. Being able to reveal chapters for free while keeping the latest chapters under a pay wall is brilliant for advertising as well as maintaining a fan base.
If am not wrongly assuming, OP means the comparison between author of BLIND PLAY manhwa and RATOV's (this webtoon) author, BP's author on twitter made some triggering comments about illegal readers. Some readers took it as a racist comments and some were upset because author called out illegal readers his comic's "murderers".
So OP of this topic means how different author of this webtoon is compared to the other artists
no no no Im not at all angry, I was just saying its refreshing to have an author be ok with releases on here. (since they use patreon for all the latest chapters)
I've seen a korean animator who got visibly frustrated with their work being released outside channels they approve of.
I've even seen japanese doujinshi artists who complain in articles about how they cant sustain money from their doujinshis because they're pirated in the west.
Oh, that makes sense. Many Korean authors (Japanese too but especially Korean) do that pretty often. Piracy or not, they think it is 'unfair' for foreigners to read their works on certain platforms That's what happened to TCF's official novel translations even though it was completely legal and purchased. T_T
Yeah, it is refreshing that the author is cool with it and themselves post their Webtoon on this site. That kinda rare even for non-Korean authors.(☆▽☆)
Is there a trend with cheating now?
I've noticed a trend with affairs in recent mangas turned animes especially revolving around fantasy worlds. This is the 2nd manga i've some across this week with cheating involved, the first was with a hero who kicks a Main character out of his party, steals his gf by controlling her as well as the other party members who are girls. Then with no guys in the party he proceeds to bang non stop.
There's the manga turned anime where the father of the main character cheats on his wife with the maid. Not to mention, Redo of Healer is probably the worst case of a sexually charged fantasy story.
I think I heard about the first one.idk it's name but I remember the criticism that the gf was innocent and the mC didn't really care after he learned the truth. Honestly I'm interested in it mainly for the poor gf.
As for cheating, tbh I havent seen it. There is a vengeance trope where the mc was horribly wronged and cheating falls under it. So rather than it being new it is a new take on the established vengeance trope. Unless the MC is the cheater, whi h is news to me.
Yes! I fucking hate the 'fanservice'. All it does is weakens the story and makes me ashamed to like anime/manga.
I sorta love how lost and confused the plot makes me feel. Every time the manga makes fun of idiots who are on the outs with no concept of what the madararui are talking about makes me laugh. (like the first time when Kunimasa tells Norio something outrageous in the class and every normie just ignores the situation and goes about their day)
this is the SECOND time i've come across a story that ends so abruptly. The other was a webcomic about a girl named Jelack.
it's unfortunate to see these stories with potential end so abruptly but maybe its best that they come to an end and maybe it'll be useful for future work.
