ok so correct me if i'm wrong but, in the story it says that for the Taran family, they can only have a son through incest and a daughter through the marriage thingy so where did his son come from?
Also, does anyone else feel like it's not his son but maybe his brothers son
And also, if its true about the givingg birth to a son and daughter thing does that mean he had a sister too?????
I am so confused someone help me!!!!
I think they explained it when he was talking to Dr. Phillip. Damien is the REAL Hugo's son and their sister. But they didn't talk about how their sister is there or what happened to the sister. Hue was very disgusted at the doctor when he was talking about it. and that's the reason why Hue didn't want a child. because their child would be a girl and to "continue" the blood line. His girl child would have to marry or get pregnant by Damien which is just sick. I get why he wants to kill the doctor bth.
but his dad is dead. so his girl child doesn't need to marry or get pregnant by Damien. I hope they can all live happily now... sigh... such a sad history and sad family. what bullshit is it to continue the family blood with incest. ugh.... disgusting.
I just want to say that the reason I don't like jeanette is because she is naive and because of her naivety she doens't consider how she might ruin a family, that is only just trying to fix itself, because she also wants a family. Like first of all, there is someone whom you have lived with for your whole life who considers himself your family but all you want is "your own family" does that mean he isn't considered your family, like you guys grew up together. and ok i can kind of forgive her on that but she is both ignorant and naive the webtoon tries to make it seem like she cares about others but all i see it as is she is wondering when the right time is so that she can join in and push herself into the family.
Like i read other webtoons with similar genres and kind of plot wise and whenever the main character is naive and f***s up just a little, they gget bashed so much because they were just a little ignorant. I feel like deep down Jeanette knows thats not her family but because she was told they are she's just trying to push herself into the family before her actual family situation comes to light.
Basically because she is ignorant and too naive she is an annoying character and she can't really read the room. Therefore I dont like her.
Can I also say that when she got back she was all like oh but I also wanted to help his majesty and blah blah but did she ever think how the princess might feel? Like right now The only family the princess has is her father, Jeanette has her uncle and cousin but Jeanette is only thinking about herself. Right now the Emperor barely recognizes his own daughter and he basically on the verge of completely forgetting her and possibly even killing her but all jeasnette can think about is how she can join the family and be the newest daughter
It gets irritating how ignorant and naive she is
That’s exactly what I’m thinking. And she kept hesitating whenever Athanasia was like “please escort her out. Daddy’s hurt” and I know for a fact that she wanted to help. But it isn’t her job to help. Besides, what can she do?
And she was talking about how when she mentioned being a family to Athanasia, Jeanette realized that she was surprised and uncomfortable. She noticed it! And yet she still is going on saying how the three of them would be a perfect family. Honestly can’t she see that they were so happy before Claude lost his memory? Doesn’t she realize that if she just forces her way into their family, it’d be completely awkward? And Claude himself said that he wouldn’t want another child, no matter who they were. (Even though Jeanette doesn’t know he said that but still)
I KNOOOW, I WOULD'VE SIMPATHISED WITH HER A BIT IF SHE WAS A LIL BIT CONSIDERATE WITH HER SURROUNDINGS. I KNOW SHE'S A CHILD BUT SHE'S OLD ENOUGH TO NOTICE THINGS AND READ THE ROOOM. sorry for typing in caps was just real pissed cause something different from the novel happened and reading the novel made me realise how they really put unnecessary inclusions of Jeanette in the manhwa. N e ways, after the story progressed Jeanette just got annoying at this point(● ̄(エ) ̄●)
Exactly! Like, she’s almost 15! She should know that there’s a time and place for things, and trying to insert herself once Claude becomes weak isn’t it. And it just makes me mad that everyone is standing up for her too. Like, she’s a teenager. She’s not a dumb as everyone says she is. She knows what she’s doing, and she even acknowledges it. She just needs to back off because it’s getting on my nerves that she can’t use her brain for once.
ok if anyone has any spoilers about this or knows any info please tell me because im suuuuuuper curious. is there a special reason they have gems implanted on their chest like does it do something??? do the colours or anything have any significance cause otherwise why the gems? im actually so curious
