Supposedly, the MC returns to the abusive ML at the end, according to people who read the full raws. I'm not even surprised ngl. I had some faith that maybe this would be a good story where the MC gets revenge and escapes his abuser, but then I remembered that rape and Stockholm Syndrome are, unfortunately, a huge kink/common theme in the BL community. It's just like the story Sadistic Beauty BL Sidestory, what a disappointment. I don't even want to read anymore knowing that the MC goes back to being with the man who kidnapped and raped him. :/
To be fair, from what I remember in sadistic beauty, he returns more so because he feels he has nowhere else to go due to ruining most of his other relationships with people in his life, not because he’s in love with the ML. At least, to me, he didn’t show any emotions of love towards him. Which, I don’t really mind how that went down because it’s not the typical “I’m gonna fall in love with the man who repeatedly SA/tortured me”.
That's true, I still find it unfortunate that he felt he had nowhere else to go but back to his abusers house, especially considering he made him hate his life so bad to the point of trying to kill himself. Also, like with everything the ML did to the MC, you'd think he'd be scarred or afraid of him, but he still goes to him cuz he has nowhere else to go, which is honestly sad. I think the ML manipulated him in some way tho, and it's sad that it's romanticized how some people feel as tho they have nowhere to turn to other than their abuser, ya know?
