ITS A HAPPY ENDING. Or an eventual happy ending for those who want a more detailed or an "aftermath" ending. An vague explanation (Srry if its bad): if u read the last chapter, the hints are pretty obvious that Dokja is alive again. One of the hints is when the "king of the kingless world begins it's storytelling" (only Dokja has that fable in the 1864th worldline) and the star stream functions are working again. Before, the star streams system functions were gradually fading, at the time same time Dokja was alive nor dead and the only thing that hsy's fable that she got from Bihyung (?). Dokja is also the oldest dream who keep things going, and that would also include the star stream (I think, plz I don't have enough IQ to understand everything TOT). So the groups fables and other stuff working again out of nowhere would mean that smths changed. It's Dokja. He was OD so he has some significant influence over star stream. The system instantly working again would mean that all of Dokja is now in this worldline and ofc awake. If anyone thinks this explaination is wrong or wanna add on, write it in the the replies. Anyway someone plz pay for my therapy it feels like I went through world war 3
*****SPOILER AHEAD**********
So technically, the novel isn't listed as yaoi. But there isn't really a whole lot of other romance going on in it either. It's mostly family love. Now, having said that, there are a LOT of hints of a possible gay romance happening in it. Throughout the entirety of the series, there are words like '**name withheld** will die at the hands of the person he loves the most.' and more, though it's less words and more actions, like a certain someone decides to travel throughout all of space for years just to save another certain person, both of whom are men.
Now, the novel is written in a very specific person's perspective, which means not all the details that are there can be listed as 'true', and there will be instances in which the story's perspective can't actually show all the relationships between the characters. Therefore, there are a lot of people who believe that it can be read in such a manner as yaoi. You can also read it as a family love, or whatever you so choose. That's the true beauty of this story. The authors(there are two for the novel) stated that the story was designed to be read and interpreted as the reader wished, since this entire story is all about the 'reader'.
Personally, I interpreted the relationship between Dokja and Joonghyuk as romantic love, albeit slow paced in some instances. It's hard to even really call it romantic in my eyes since it feels more like a soulmate type of connection; basically, to me, there is something that runs much deeper than just simple romantic love in their relationship. You'll see what I mean the more this story progresses. To call it yaoi...would be disrespectful, as I feel most yaoi include sex at some point, or make the sexual relations (I am including kissing in this) a key part of the story. The relationship between Dokja and Joonghyuk is the kind of love that you rarely get to see, regardless of the genders in the relationship. Their relationship, and this whole story, is not something so cut and dry as to be able to label it under a category.
I would personally suggest you read the novel, as you will NOT be disappointed. Even with the awkward translations to English, the story stills comes across to inspire many readers and touch our hearts. It is truly a masterpiece of a story, at least in my opinion. I've read a lot of books, of all different genres, and yet for some reason, it was this novel that had me continuing to think deeply about it long after I had finished it, and it was this novel that I keep in the back of my mind, wherever it is I go.
Although I'm addicted, I still don't get some things TvT someone plz explain the whole constellians and stigma thing, and the characters' skills (like Jung heewon, Junghyuk, etc) Also the meaning behind the constellians' names. Also also how are war generals related to the constellians?? (ex. Lee Jihye's sponser). Ok I'm realizing I need the whole game system to be explained- So if anyone would be generous enough to drop some link or just directly explain everything to my peasant azz, I will be grateful ╥﹏╥
Ok, so basically!
Constellations are simply figures born from legends (be then from the human world or not), their power depend on how known they are. Their names are related to these legends, like Lee Jihye's sponsor is a korean well-known historic figure.
Stigma's are skills originally from your sponsor (constelation) that were transmited to you through your agreement with your constellation.
Skills are generated based on things you were already good or related to (like how YJH has the pro-gamer skill cause he used to be a pro-gamer).
There are more things but these will be explained better in the future and may contain spoilers.
I just wanted to add! This isn't a spoiler as it's been revealed in the earlier chapters but basically these constellations use modifiers whenever they send indirect messages to incarnations (incarnations being the humans on earth). Kinda like in actual streams where if someone sponsors you balloons their username pops up.
So yes, Modifier = Username
The constellations that had their name revealed that I can remember are:
The Archangel Uriel,Her modifier is Demon-Like Judge of Fire
And Sun Wukong,His modifier is Prisoner of the Golden Headband

You asked if anyone from Kim Dokja's COMPANIONS will die- which its true none of them didn't. But you never asked if he himself does.
No I never asked cuz I knew :') I seen enough fanart and shit, Dokja looking like a dark angel rn and junghyuk looking sad af to know that. I'm also guessing that Dokja keeps dying again and again, and junghyuk has been regressing a lot to save him or smth. Plus Dokja is diff from the others so I was thinking that if they die then its gonna be forever, so thats why I only asking about his companions only (/TДT)/
Damn...when you say it like that, it makes me feel sad that even if Dokja and Junghyuk regress (or something along those lines), they get to see eachother again in like, the 1864th regression.
But at least as long as Junghyuk lives and keeps regressing, all of the original TWTSA characters will be there, like- shield guy, the girl who calls Dokja: "Ahujussi" or something, and other people who will be introduced in other scenarios. This was mentioned in the story somewhere later on that everytime Junghyuk regresses, he will always see the original characters.
Sadly Gilyoung doesn't show up I'm pretty sure ╥﹏╥

ECLISE DOESN'T DIE. Everyone including the MC thinks he ded but then in one of the side stories or in the main story (its been a while since I read it) shit happened and MC met Eclise again in one of her architure exploration times (cant spell srry-). I'm not gonna go too into detail but after the whole final battle thing, Eclise kinda gone missing and then when they met again (exploration thing) Eclise forgot his memories. MC was superised at first and then Eclise was all "Idk u but u seem familier and I kinda want to kill u but I also dont want to kill u". Then MC sort of get what hes saying, yada yada yada, she tells him to go east (sum direction) and find smth to live for I guess. So in summary, ECLISE AIN'T DEAD BUT SOME SHIT HAPPENED AND HE LOST HIS MEMORIES. Also those who are sad about Eclise not being FL, trust me, this is like the best and healthy ending for both of them, if u consider everything that had happened in the novel (my opinion). Anyway u can probs tell that I cannot english or explain things, its 2 am rn so plz forgive me if I dont make sense or sound rude ( ̄∇ ̄")
