i think he’s the one suha met, when jiwoon was going to a meeting with the woman that appears sometimes and other director or something (i don’t remember their names sorry) and the gray haired guy approached suha. jiwoon heard about it, got mad, took suha upstairs and had sex with him instead of going to the meeting

I know that, but that could be one of their children from a previous marriage. Or it could be another family member’s child and that family member is no longer around. Or it could be their children but they adopted them somewhere else. There is a reason why the spouse was not shown and the author would’ve hinted at chief’s sexuality in such an ambiguous way for so long. Imo it’s canon. Plus, by all means this is a fictional piece, laws may not be the same if that’s all that’s stopping the author.
We’re so quick to say it’s headcanon when it’s about lgbtq+ relationships. From what the author has put in this chapter and others, it’s headcanon that it’s a straight relationship :)!
