i was so confused by the art they included with the credits because athy looks so much like her mom ^^' i was shocked for a few seconds and then i noticed baby athy and that her mom's eyes are a different color.
a few years ago i read an autobiographical manga about a crossdressing "male actress" who did adult films. he got a transgender girlfriend later in life as well. i can't remember the name of the manga and i've been looking for it because it was really interesting. i can picture the actual person's face in my mind but i can't remember his name and it's not very productive to google this as you may imagine. it's not "the bride was a boy" btw

idk I was expecting something a bit more dramatic :o like a reveal at a ball maybe? But I also think Asher's reveal being very planned out and private is in character so whatever. Not everything has to over the top drama I guess

Well the crown prince is under the pressure of the aristocratic faction and so he has to stay low and plan things behind the scene so the probability of meeting at the ball is out of question or the Aristocratic faction will go out of control esp the princess
And Also he genuinely care for her and trust her, to the point to tell her in private his actual identity it's Kind a big step. he is going forward to show is affection for Aria.
So she doesn't learn the truth by a 3rd party and feel a sense of betrayal or as a fool to have been played.
We know he is into ''showboating'' but he know it doesn't work on her, with is very failed attempt in the past (sending gifts to the wrong daughter, BIG YIKES)
So it show he is ready to be more vulnerable for her in hope she'll open up. That was a cute chapter from Asher !
As someone who read the novel , i assure u there will be a lot of dramatic moments coming soon so look forward to it.
PS: unless they decide to modify the story a little bit.
