yup they did. they probably deleted that one chapter with bad quality translations uplaoded by a different translator.

This was REALLY refreshing to read.
Normally you don't get to see the characters who have crossed over try to hide their identity and struggle alone, but here we are able to see them come together and be open with each other about the situations they're in. Also, in comparison to other isekai this one is really down to earth in a weird sense. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I think you're on the wrong track here. Seeing how on the fence he was when Lou started flirting with Celestine he might've simply done Lou a favor bc the guy went "She's brainwashed, trust". He might be convinced that the memory loss came about as a result of breaking the supposed brain washing and is completely obvious to Lou's scheme, we don't know yet. +He's a total siscon from the looks of it.
