I’m not excusing the sexual assault in anyway and NEITHER IS YEON IN THE STORY, and I don’t think the author is either. Yeon is bonded to Keith he knows what that means he chose to take responsibility for that. It’s obvious though that he won’t put up with Keith’s anymore. Even Keith himself is starting to understand the consequences of his actions, hence why he went to a completely empty island for his rut. He knows he can’t control himself in rut so he left to avoid forcing himself on Yeon when he wasn’t in the right states of mind. The sexual assault was terrible but the whole point of a story is character development not just canceling a key character of a story. Keith deserves everything Yeon put him threw but I think Yeon has noticed that Keith is changing and thus he believes there’s a chance for the relationship.
