The people who are still mad about the age gap must not be reading the same manhwa as me. It’s clear that the fact he’s a child 1. Is on purpose so he has now power to do anything against his brother 2.the ML fully avoids him and only becomes more understanding after seeing him in the future 3. There’s no sexual or romantic acts between them. I still don’t understand how people don’t see that most likely no romance will happen between them till they’re adults. Idk if there will be a time skip or what will happen but idk reading these comments it feels like we are reading totally different manhwas
Tbh I think it is also to make Hangyeol look back on how toxic his brother truly is. Oftentime we don't realise the toxic patterns of our parents/elders growing up and end up normalising ourselves to be treated like that. Especially since his brother is in a way his primary caretaker he is too near his brither to realize these things. I hope he figures out his brother has been isolating him from his classmates for years now.
Definitely, that’s a great point. There’s no way the creator could show that with out sending him back to when he was so young. I generally think so far all the choices the author makes seem so necessary and well done.
Yes, Hangyeol going back has given Taehyuk resolution sooner or he would have continued to suffer for years before he put an end to his paid host-like situation.
Also, now we know that the brother killed Taehyuk in 1st TL but Hangyeol feels guilt for growing apart from him in the past TL. Hangyeol's brother has conditioned him in a way where in his eyes his brother did everything for Hangyeol's good. And now Taehyuk knows where the threat lies for both Hangyeol and him.
Hangyeol has already saved Taehyuk now I think it is Taehyuk's turn to save Hangyeol.
Add to that Taehyuk pushed away Hangyeol and got into accident so we don't know who his target was in the 1st TL.
