If you really want to get into it, the gender roles are role-ing right? Like this isn't all that deep or even representative of gender fluidity and stuff

I like to think this is the beginning of manwhas that are targeted towards cis-heteronormative people and that are more respectful about gender-queer people, ESPECIALLY more tolerant towards people assigned as men at birth, who dress and act like women socially

and also, I feel like because the author is so "unsure" about Crystal's gender, with crystal staying with crystal as a name but using he/him, your interpretation of Illian and Crystal is really the big thing that like makes the story queer representation you know?

I liked this! I think this was really sweet, Crystal is SUCh a lovely person and Illian is such a little devil! And it makes my little fucked up gender heart squeel with happiness to see two people who are just "my gender is... ☆me☆ gender" end up happy just really warms up my heart maaaaan

Theres no way that was like safe to immediately get down to buisness with, like I know magic, but also like, healing? sweat is not good for open wounds (which is what tattoos often count as in safety stuff) Plus like wouldn't it hurt? it sounds very unfun to have skin sticking to a new tattoo and unsticking repeatedly, I immagine like, skin on a chair getting like heat stuck and like coming off and it really hurts vibes
