I'm still at chapter 29 but I just had an epiphany! the first time they met, he asked Miso, "Do you know me?" I'm guessing that he recognized her then and when she didn't remember he just let it go. I also think that the older brother got bitter because they were both kidnapped but the vice president got a special attention because he wasn't saved until a few days later? that's what I got from the flashback.
I like it but I get how some people might not. We hate to see the weak side of ourselves being portrayed so some people might not like the first few chapters of this manga. (I'm like that, that's why I usually read head strong female lead) I empathize with her. Being taken out of your safe haven is not something you can just get over with easily and the place she's at now is so negative towards her. You got to look at her point of view and where she is coming from. Her environment crashed her self esteem by a lot and it takes time to restore that. I think the emperor pushed her too fast, I get what he wants but I feel sad seeing her have a melt down.
Canaria: I hope you come home soon.
Caesar: *fights until he can no longer stand up just so he can go home faster*
