This author is on another level. And the art is so good.
This story was told so beautifully. I’ve been trying to put my finger on why, for the most part, manga is better than manhua. Manga generally has so much more detail and nuance, and, with mangas like this one, there is room for the story to breathe and for characters to develop.
Even tho this was only one volume plus two extras you can still get a good feel for all of the characters. It's one of my favorites~
It’s the same old asshole seme, innocent uke trope. I don’t mind rape etc, it’s just that, besides the historical setting, nothing seems particularly original about thus story.

It is rated highly because it deserves to be. Obviously the readers liked it and rated it highly. you are just missing something in your life that you need to hate on a precious comic that took the time out of the creators life's. If you are just going to be angry and lonely then do it somewhere else. No need to take it out on someone's work and dedication. (●'◡'●)ﾉ (=・ω・=)

I feel like Korean art style is really influencing Japanese art style in terms of faces, manliness of the leads etc.
The amount of marriages and divorces and step siblings, and half siblings is on another level.

my family is worse I guess I have 4 half siblings, and together we have 7 step siblings and there is a lot of parents, also my granddad and ma are not together and have other partners my grandma has a half sister and I have a step greatgrandfather cause my grandmothers parents and neighboring couple did a full on partner switch... My other grandmother has 8 siblings
