Chapter 24 was exciting but also kind of sad. Yujin wanted to give the lollipop to the kid because he has an emotional connection to him. The asshole crushing the lollipop had a bigger impact on Yujin than he realized. So now he’s using sex as a coping mechanism.
Based on the previous chapters, I wonder if he sees the kid as a proxy for Aaron as a child and is projecting his residual guilt onto him.

When I was reading earlier chapters it was implied that they knew each other. And that Yujin’s father might have done something to Aaron back then. Maybe kidnapped him?

Damn. I’m glad I’m not the only want that wanted Chisoo to end up with the uke. He was on the verge of making a change but backed out at the last minute. That comment about losing your soul the minute you killed someone to survive hit hard. He’s only now seeing the blood on his hands, Lady Macbeth style. What a brilliantly written manhwa.
What makes it more tragic is that it’s possible that the only reason he decided not to run away with the uke is that they both would get killed by the group, just like the previous boss. So, even if he wants to change he’s stuck with the organization. Trapped in a cage of loyalty, money and violence. So now he has to close off his heart again.
It’s so refreshing that the main couple didn’t get together at the end. Sad, but realistic. I think the author took a risk with such an ending and I was quite impressed with that.
Does anyone else find it weird that the MC looks so young. He literally looks like he’s 13/14 years old. Plus he has no pubic hair. Plus he’s never even masturbated before. I find it awkward especially during the sex scenes. It looks like a grown man kissing a young boy. And that’s besides the fact that the MC is emotionally, mentally, psychologically stunted.
I’m two chapters in and I had to check that I didn’t accidentally click on like chapter 15 or something. There was no proper introduction to the main characters. It was just odd.

The plot is a bit clumsy. But they are hot. What confuses me is why Frey would ever talk in that manner to such a powerful CEO. Even after he found out who he was. It’s just weird. Like that guy could have ended him if he wanted.
I understand the intentions of the author, but perhaps the execution is what’s weird. And as others have pointed out how their relationship feels rushed.
I think the uke is having painful sex because he wants to punish himself. Maybe out of guilt, like the uke from Blood Bank.
