So there's this one track that I really adore entitled "Choking on Flowers" by Fox Academy but I had always been intrigued if there's a deeper meaning behind it because it's just so mysteriously beautiful and haunting. I then decided to do a little research and then I eventually found out about "Hanahaki" and it really seemed interesting to me indeed and I loved it. Upon the research, I also found out about "The Girl Who Spit Flowers" by Naoko Matsuda and I was all the more curious so I decided to dig in further and eventually, I stumbled upon a very familiar boy from a manga so I decided to click on it. It then turned out that the picture was from "Kids on the Slope"! So i watched its trailer and I immediately added it to my "to-watch list". After all that has happened, I then remembered watching a Gigguk video entitled "Music in Anime" from which I first saw of that boy! And finally here I am reading the manga ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
This was actually a refreshing read for me hehe.
Chapters 1 to 3 was really sweet-- it has a nice pacing and I think their dialogues were cute (I mean, they don't always say much but somehow, I've liked their story the most!)
Chapters 4 to 5 on the other hand was a matured type of love. The scenes and problems presented were highly realistic-- I really think that arguments like those are what makes the best out of a couple (▰˘◡˘▰)
Chapter 6 was okay kek and I do appreciate how much the seme supports the uke and damn, he sure endured a lot. Seeing the uke get into various relationships and then comforting him when things get rough, props to you man (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Chapter 7 felt a little rushed for me idk and the blackmailing part didn't sit well with me. All I can say is the seme was hella good-looking ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I really appreciate how the translator is very considerate for those who knows little Japanese by adding important details and notes ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ I think it's a great thing because it establishes a clearer context of the dialogues.
