i really liked the progression of it — from kyungsoo stating that even alphas feel intimidated by chowon to his realization that chowon is physically weaker than women. it probably comes as a surprise to him, but the thing is, chowon relies heavily on his pheromones in order to intimidate other people — but as a beta, kyungsoo is immune to those pheromones. with chowon’s stubborn nature and his mastery of pheromones, really the only person who can ever hope to stand against him is someone who won’t take shit and is immune to the pheromones that serve him so well. this just reinforces the notion that, despite the difference in social status (and the difference in their statuses as a prominent omega and an average beta), chowon really needs someone like kyungsoo.
