holy smokes…. i keep coming back to this and I always tear up because its SOOOOOO GOOODDDDD. i don’t know how the author did it, but these three one shots might be the best old shoujo like ever. its so fuckign good dude i want to kill myself. holy
So fucking boring. The characters and plots are boring at best and insufferable at worst.
If the plot became more political, the least they could've done is made the two sides of the war more fleshed out. To me, both sides seem like total pieces of shit, but not even the cool, well-written pieces of shit: just the kind you’d find on the side of the street in NYC.
The art isn’t even that great too. I could barely take the couple seriously because of their bug-eyes. The heads were constantly out of proportion and everything was SOOOO MEDIOCRE. If the art was stunning, I think I would’ve been a lot more lenient to the plot, but there’s really almost nothing about this series that I enjoyed.
