not sure how this has a high rating. the plot is subpar with way too many plot holes and plot armor. FL is bland, not that im looking for a bad bitch, but give me something more than untoasted white bread and a thin layer of mayo. art is subpar, which would be excuable if the plot was worth reading.
things that dont make sense:
- i get it, they hate her, but if she's taking the role of the crown princess she needs a better foundation. if they truly cherish the madeleine name, they would at least provide better education, shut the gossip around their name, etc. whether they like it or not, she carries the highest rank in the household and therefore is the most representative of their name.
- there is barely any explaination of the world we're in. the history between the dukedom and royal family and how he became the "dog." the oath ceremony and the "rules" around that tradition. name dropping specific garments as if they have a special meaning but never explaining it.
this is the entire plot: sad girl enters mean house and saved by strong man because strong man like how nice weak girl is. the mean family and mean royal family are mad that she switched sides but there is never any explanation as to why it has to be her and why the crown prince just cant marry his lover who is the daughter of a marquis, one rank below a duke and is sufficient status to marry into the crown.
there is no strong female lead, the male leads interest is two dimensional, and the antagonism isn't logical
omfg imagine if that bastard gets the girl pregnant....Ugh i need therapy after reading this, manipulation and lies, our poor girl cannot catch a break with these dudes.

did she really need to be reincarnated? i feel like its such an unnecessary part of the story. like i get how it influenced her being more secretive and scared of her secret, but those aspects didnt really have a ton of influence on the story imo. unless im missing how else it contributes to the story??
people keep using japanese terminology while commenting on korean media :////
it's not senpai, it's sunbae
it's not yakuza, its gangpae or just a fucking gangster
its not sensei, its sem or seungsengnim
it's not arigato, it's gomapsumnida
do the fucking decency to use the fuxking correct terminology
some of the proportions are SO WEIRD idk why it isnt being talking about. like in the first chap where they get squeezed on the train, uke looks like a fucking bobblehead im sorry
the political angst and timeline does not make any sense. they shouldve killed fl when she was "silent" for years like how they killed the other siblings.
i mainly like the concept of a secret identity, but trying/learning to live a happy normal life. kind of like sakamoto days, but instead of mostly already being there, i like the journey of getting there that ijin faces.
i tried similar action concepts like god of blackfield, i didn't really like it. i think the bigger goal of finding the traitor and a grown adult beating a minor felt weird to me. i dont like most reincarnation into a different body/life.
any other recs? doesnt have to be mainly action :] ty
small detail: male calicos are INCREDIBLY rare and considered good luck in east asian countries.
hera's mouth is always open like a fucking mouth breather jfc
