I also posted this in the Boku no Hero Academia page, but I think this is serious and I feel like it has to be posted here as well. So besides mangago, I'm not really involved in the anime or manga community. With my social media accounts, I'm not part of any anime groups. So, I'm pretty late with anime related news. I just found out that people on ig are demanding from Horikoshi-sensei, mangaka of My Hero Academia, to make their gay ships cannon. Some even sending death threats. Now, I love yaoi , my fucking username is Fujoshi-sama. But sending death threats is not a joke. Please do not threathen to kill a man, just to see two fictional characters get together. It can really affect a person mentally and ruin their lives. I know canon hits differently, but is forcing or bullying someone into making your yaoi dreams come true good? Let him write the story however he wants. There are very good doujinkas out there with real good doujins of your ships. Please, don't harass Horikoshi-sensei. I know a lot yaoi fans are just chill people, and most keep their yaoi fandomness within the yaoi community. I just want the people who didn't know this was happening to be aware and possibly help by showing love and support to Horikoshi in social media.

when the mc said "my fashion isn't me giving consent", i fucking felt that. no matter what clothes you're wearing, you're wearing it for yourself whatever the reason. may it be for comfort, for empowerment, or even just to make yourself feel beautiful and sexy. it doesn't give others the right to judge you for your fashion and it especially doesn't give men the right to come on to you and sexually harrass you whether it's verbal or physical.

is probably one of the few authors/mangaka that actually studied the historical settings they have in mind. She didn't use the element of supernatural and not of this world universe, to add elements they invented. which is common in recent manga viewing nobility circumstance like something so easy to disrupt with the popolar concept of "if they love each other or if the heroine from a commoner background is poor and miserable the nobles would took pity of her".
As seen in this serie nobles especially in 18th are more self aware and cautious... more than ever they're protective of their position even at a cost to drag out a poor commoner girl out to save their butt. Plus its also the period where people with no historical noble bloodline are emerging and getting success. #-.-)
And they won't go all smiley and accepting because "you're a poor commoner girl that is bullied" like what I've seen in the webtoons featuring nobilities.
Ofc, there is fantasy theme on them that cover all the etichette the author invented.
For example, how more than often we see heroine from aristocrats faction that goes around with lose flowing hair in webtoons. In 18th and early 19th,you could keep up that type of hairstyle if you're young. Once you hit around 15-16 year old women start to do their hair more composely. Which is not that unheard as seen more than once in movie about nobles all the women even hold their hair up and doesn't let it lose and flowing like in novels...
While webtoons picturing noble girls convey the image the more hair you let loose the more beautiful you are.
In terms of an actual portrayal of noble society and gathering this novel so far is the ONLY ONE that reached a that level of detail.
Another Amazing thing is that her works does not revolve around the MC completely. The side characters are no people completely smitten by the MC and her affair they have their own life. They are not there just to make her look good and tell the reader the MC is understood. But they have their own stories.
It's kinda like the italian neoralism in cinema where any people of society has their own stories and they're not characters created to compliment the protagonist. Any person of different social class is a protagonist with his own dynamic and turbo lent life.
Most of all, i love the RESPECT she give to the cultural referenced used in her story. She respect and made an effort to understand the cultural historical material she used and refresent those instead of using the setting about nobility as an excuse to draw Lolita dresses that have mixed styles that dialetically apart in terms of conceptio and timeline. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I love how she put an effort to study and learnt the historical theme and setting she used. Understood and compliment and celebrate throught art.

Is there any love triangle manga where the female lead or male lead ends up with the 2nd guy instead of the first guy because they treated main lead badly? I don't know if there is that kind of manga but I'm just tired of the main lead always ending up with the guy that is an asshole.

recommendations for isekai manga where the FL is stronger than the ML/doesn’t have a ML
stronger here means she has the upper hand and it’s so hard to find, there’s only like one so far which is beware of the villainess. im so tired of reading manga where even if she knows what will happen, the ML somehow is always stronger, smarter or knows how to trap her or is somehow stronger than everyone and she’s scared of him.

i reread this for the second time but i dont like it as much as the first one. in fact, i actually don't like it now. it confuses me on how johoon guy who is watching and scheming everything doesn't get any punishment yet the twin guy who is taking advantage of how twisted johoon guy is is the only one who get shitted on. like, the twin is really wrong but johoon is treated like he doesn't have sins at the end.
also, why is siwoon even working together with johoon? they are going extra miles to edge siwon only with assumptions (though it turns out to be true) while forgetting that johoon is the one who want those guys to entertain him with r4p*ng siwon. he is also the one who record it and send it to the twin. i feel like no one really highlight how fucked up johoon is in the end just because he work together with siwoon.

No one has mentioned this, it seems. But I’m happy the ML has fully come round and is working his ass off to make it up to her from the shadows after the absolute dick he made of himself in the beginning.
She’ll probably forgive him because the FL is that nice once the reveal happens. But if I were her, I’d want that man to NEVER show his face to me ever. Just because he made some pissy assumptions when she LEGALLY OWNED THAT LAND, he literally criminalised her existence, sabotaged her farm, shot an arrow at her which could have fatally hit her if she had just made a single unexpected movement and KNOWINGLY TESTED A POTENTIALLY MILITARY WEAPON OVER HER LAND.
Am I remembering this right?
He is lucky this is a light-hearted story because his bullshit law could’ve killed her. When no one is allowed to interact with you or even acknowledge you exist, how do you shop? Get supplies? Feed yourself when you can’t buy groceries? She literally came to the farm with the clothes on her back and a suitcase. The only pro to that law is she’s technically exempt from taxes?

I am so tired of all the comments complaining about the story. Especially since all the comments I see have no real basis. “The relationship of the main characters doesn't evolve”, ‘The drawing has lost its grace’ and the like. How do you guys say the former when literally Ren and Kyoko have started dating at last?! And not only that, you can tell the story is coming to an end. The plots are being closed little by little, like now that we are getting into Ren's past. Literally that I'm sure after this part he's going to tell who his parents are and close the wound of the friend he lost. And as for the drawing, the author has been in poor health for a long time. It's normal that she wanted to save herself from doing backgrounds and other details, so she could keep drawing the story. Sometimes you seem to forget that the working conditions of mangakas are horrible. My recommendation is that if you are not interested in the story, stop reading it so you don't bother the people who are still enjoying it :)
