The prince was under the effect of poison which made him do all those horrible things to Tia. The poison was given by Jieun under the orders of her caretaker who is the main villain. There is a huge conspiracy involved. The villain wants to have the throne for himself.
So all this time Ruve was innocent. He was always under the effect of poison. So he in general DOESN'T DESERVE THIS HATE. Because he is also a victim like Tia and unlike her the fandom ridiculed him.
Moral: Never judge too early.

.... He was awful to Tia waaaaaay before Jieun came into their world! He ignored her, purposely let her fall on the ground when they first danced to ridiculize her before every noble in the assembly... He didn't need to be forced into it. And what kind of poison make someone abuse specifically one person only? If this is the case, it would be a very convenient and very atrocious plot decision.
He did become a tyrant tho. After Tia's death the country fell to ruin. It was her who maintained the country not him. And that dance thing can't be compared to what he did later. And the first chapters were shown from her perspective. It would be better if commoners perspective were included too.
Nothing in the side story written in Ruve's point of view show that he was out of his mind because of a poison. He understood with perfectly clearity what he has done and he his remorseful about judging Tia without properly listening to her side of the story. He is shown to be a perfectly sound of mind asshole. When he saw just how hard it was to actually rule the country, he took his frustration on Jieun and used her as his new punching-ball.
And it was Jieun and her bad decisions that eventually led to the country's downfall. I grant you that Ruve wasn't any smarter for letting things go so out of hand though.

There is no change in the plot as far as the raws goes though. Jieun isn't even here yet.
The plot is real and the name of the villain is Duke Jenna. He appears in chapter 74. And the contents of the poison I only got to know the effects. Idk how thought process changes.

Novel spoilers, the Duke was related to Tia. He hates her because her grandmother, I think his sister didn't married the emperor. He badmouthed Tia to the Prince from day 1. So he fed poison to Ruve regarding to Tia.
Oh, I want to see chapters of him using the bitch as his punching bag.
To be honest the ml is really a jerk but he saw the FL as enemy so I can still let it pass. What gets on my nerves is how he didn't do anything to save the horse.

We want the story from the plot description but that doesn’t mean the manga they actually put it are bad-very good really but we just wanted to read the one from the plot. But other bad comments? I got no voice for them.
