Aside from Smyrna & Capri I haven’t rlly followed BWAT’s work before. But omg this one has so much potential for angst with how the mc can suddenly fade away into bubbles.
I DO want them to be happy but a (huge) part of me loves angst sm I’m sorry yall Maybe I’m insane but I rlly wanna see more heartbreaking scenes I wonder if the mc will lose or run out of the star candy (that keeps him tethered to this world) at some point.. what if the mc suddenly starts fading away in front of the ml???

I’m just imagining worst case scenario in which moon owl pretends it’s him so that the fl can have a more engaging love line for the audience bc she assumes his identity, and subsequently has to compete with Pearl for Sapphire n gets hurt

just read the raws. In ch7 the boss in the police station reveals to mc that the ml is actually an undercover detective (quote “차준혁이 사실은 ‘위장수사 중인 형사’고”).

Idk how this one will end, I hope it’s poly but genuinely I’m not sure but I was reading ahead in the raws and the tension between the tops is insane ngl at this point I feel like it wouldn’t be that surprising if they just started making out while fucking the bottom together LMFAO - like the tension between them is THAT high imo

But it just depends on the direction the creator wants to go in, bc if they only want a love triangle with a monogamous ending rather than poly, they will probably do their best not to explore the tension they created between the tops and make it end at just a sense of rivalry

EDIT: yall so I checked the creator’s page and some1 (a commenter not the creator themselves) was saying they appear to only work on love triangle things, so it’s likely the creator is gonna ignore the tension in that sense and just make it monogamous in the end I still have hope tho (I’m delusional)

Honestly I appreciate the fact that this isn’t another case of a delicate (? idk the term) Bottom character who both looks and acts like he doesn’t wanna be there LMAO. There are so many BL manhwas like that, so the Bottom character being dominant here is pretty refreshing. (Tho the consent is a bit murky..)

I feel like having the mc awkwardly seeing the (bottom) cleaner x blond lawyer (rival) fucking at work tho made it harder for me lmaooo cuz I know I’d be annoyed like do that shit at home??? It’s funny seeing it from the perspective of someone not involved cuz the whole “sex at work” thing is not uncommon between leads in BL but it definitely gives a different impression when it’s viewed from an outsider’s perspective. the moment I saw they gave her weird orbs instead of boobs (no nipples) I knew this was a n*ver webtoon even their smut is weird and can be awkwardly censored. They allow nsfw content thru the age restricted section, but it has to be pretty tame I think. Nothing like r*d* or l**h*n where 18+ smut actually means 18+ smut. Notice how they also didn’t focus much on his dick: it’s mostly off screen despite already being lightsaber-style censored (so logically there’s no reason for it to be mostly hidden).

spoiler for chs up to ch21. They (FL and black hair ML) move super fast and get very close and have a loving affectionate relationship. They adore eachother and he can say her real name etc etc. They’re constantly together and she’s always in his arms or they’re wrapped around eachother, etc etc. But it’s the calm before the storm.

White haired guy is livid (he’s watching them with magic or whatever).
When the ML goes out on horseback, shit happens and he COMES BACK WITH NO FUCKING MEMORY OF HER (I just skim read but it seems to be a curse or spell specifically related to her and their love). It’s an amnesia plotline at the worst time bc they just made us ADORE the couple together. And now we have to watch her getting emotionally torn apart as the love of her life keeps rejecting her (and not kindly either).

Like this shit is breaking my heart why must they do this. THIS IS NOT FLUFF YALL LMAO. They’ll probably have a happy ending but this is PAIN I knew they got together too fucking fast for things to go well

When the FL’s thoughts were spiralling and she lifted her dagger in ch34, was she trying to k*ll herself? Or just generally hurt herself (or her arm)? (Etc) I couldn’t really figure it out from the angle and it happened rlly suddenly and her friend had a horrified reaction when he saw her. Did anyone figure out what she was doing (or about to do) in that moment?
