Tldr this is one of those rarer straight smut / romance mangas that are fully consensual and just SOOOO heartwarming to read
I just noticed that we’re missing the prologue here. A lot of the time prologues aren’t a big deal, but in this manhwa’s case it’s practically chapter 1 & significantly important bc it gives the whole background of what happened and how she died in her past life before coming back
If anyone is really confused about her past life I’d suggest finding the raw & machine translating (I literally can’t find an English tl of the prologue, it seems to have been mistakenly skipped) to get a better understanding

I lowkey have a bad feeling that there’s angst coming when the ml finds out the fl is only really with him bc he enables her special ability. Like yeah getting proposed to a lot is annoying, but it’s nothing she hasn’t been able to ignore before. Getting her ability to make money back was the *real* reason.
She’s told him all sorts of things abt how she likes his face, likes his misfortune (etc) and endangered herself to save him, and he’s now thinking things like ‘she’s the only one who sees me’. He’s gradually coming to trust her but I’m not sure how he’ll feel when he finds out about this??? If I had to guess, he’s gonna feel used & go back into his shell emotionally at least.

So ppl who have read the novel are saying the ml is the black haired duke (what a surprise LMAO idk why I even checked )

LMFAO fr, imagine the plane crashes and you only die bc the pilots were getting freaky in the cockpit
so I thought it was just a stylistic choice (before I finished the chapter), but now with the context of the end I honestly feel like Guwon looked off throughout the main kiss scene in this ch. He was weirdly shadowed, and didn’t seem very enthusiastically into it (though that last point is unclear bc he’s a bit odd anyway LOL). His lips didn’t seem to move, he was just sort of staring forwards or away from view, and in one panel he’s just towering over the mc with his face shaded in darkness (while the mc blushes and drools away )
so there are 2 possibilities here I feel:
1. He’s just strange (probably not fully human) and it was taking him a while to understand the meaning of the kiss and decide how he felt abt it, the vomiting was for some other reason but designed to make us misunderstand atm, and (see: strange personality) didn’t mean anything malicious by complimenting himself in the mirror. He’s obviously mysterious and has a lot going on we don’t know about yet, and clearly Jinwoo is a little questionable too with his missing memories.
2. He’s not actually sweet, and is an orange flag at best on the inside. And all of the above wasn’t innocent weirdness but instead more malicious. If you google Sisyphus, his traits include deceit, cunning and hubris (the author might not necessarily plan to go this deep into the mythology of it all though, maybe just the eternal punishment angle). But I feel like it would be a mistake to assume that just bc the creator’s previous work had a relatively genuine ML, that it means they will only ever create wholesome work..
