It had some good moments but the first chapters were messy and the ending was really abrupt :/ I think two more chapters could’ve helped to wrap things up a little better.
Also it feels like the author introduced too many characters and relationships and didn’t have the time to work on them (like kihoon and seohyun) so I can’t help but feel unsatisfied after reading it.

I keep coming back to reread and then I check the comments and it really looks like some people are reading this with their eyes closed. No reading comprehension whatsoever. So focused on classifying a character as a green/red flag that they end up ignoring EVERYTHING else in the story.
This might be hard to understand but Guwon doing bad things doesn’t automatically make him evil lol.

Omg a sane comment. Honestly, it wasn’t like this when the chapter literally came out and everyone was wondering if the doctor was lying or not and how the story was taking an interesting turn. I came back to comments after a few hours just to see and the amount of people straight up villainizing Guwon.
Like i understand why someone would come to that conclusion but i felt like people were having the most intense memory loss. In the beginning of the story, Guwon was literally gonna leave Teach to die if he didn’t provide himself as useful. So Guwon not being merciful wasn’t out of the picture and yet, people were thinking he was wonderful green flag or pink flag or whatever they had him at.
Personally, i think Guwon is morally grey character at this point of the story. However, we are still in the beginning of the story which means that more things are gonna be revealed and changes to these characters are going to happen. And whatever happens moving forward will dictate whether these characters are still “good” or not.
But i felt insane as i felt people were viewing these characters, more specifically Guwon, as one dimensional and whether they are straight up evil or good. Like just give the author some time to cook before jumping to conclusions as we are only 20 chapters in

You mentioned something very important! Yes, literally on the /FIRST/ chapter Guwon made it very clear that if Jinwoo wasn't useful he would've killed him, not leave him to die but kill him.
In the /SECOND/ chapter the doctor made it clear that only people who could do something useful for the city could stay.
And in the next chapters we can see that Guwon doesn't really have a friendly relationship with the other citizens, that they're afraid of him and that things weren't always so peaceful.
Nothing we're seeing right now is much of a surprise. Guwon was never shown as the pure person people were expecting him to be so why are so many feeling betrayed? It looks like Guwon isn't the only illiterate person around here.

Green flag this, red flag that... god forbid a character is actually interesting.
Everything points to Guwon not being human and yet people here in the comments are expecting him to act like a normal person. We still don't know where he came from or how he was treated in the past but it is OBVIOUS he isn't normal, has been obvious since the first chapters.
And I don't think he is evil. Guwon truly believes the only people who deserve to stay alive are the ones who are useful to the city, you could tell that his reaction after getting slapped was genuine. Does that make the things he did right? No, but there wasn't anyone brave enough to tell him that what he is doing is wrong.
Keep in mind that these people are not living in a normal world with normal laws and rules, you can't expect them to act like you would. You'd also be afraid to say anything to the man who just killed someone with a baseball bat or crushed someone's head with his own hands.

EXACTLY. What makes me crazy is that it's not hard to understand his character, specially after this chapter, but since he's not the green flag they wanted him to be they just want him to die now lol as I've already said on a previous comment people came to read a zombie apocalypse story expecting everything to be sunshine and rainbows and obviously they didn't get that.
they’re never gonna make me hate you guwon
