That hospital scene at chapter 3 really gets to me. Like, even if mimori cant remember, a part of him doesn't want to let go of iku. That ghost mimori at chapter 3-4 is probably the part of him that says "i love that guy!(iku)"

I was finally able to read it after months of hesitation.
Tip to those who want to read this but is afraid: skip all the backstory. Don't ask why, just skip it. I did this and it was less painful.
Also I wish the doctor and lewis get together in their next life. I was kinda happy in the letter because the vch ass bastard know that he will never get lewis back again, even in their next life.
It reminds me of that novel i read that has the same story about this except the uke wasnt sick. In the end, when the cheating seme thought the uke will go back with him, when the seme left for a bit to do some work, the uke committed suicide. In the extra chapter, the seme knew he will never have the uke again because the uke is in heaven and the seme knew himself that he will go to hell so they are now eternally separated.
