I love both stories. The first one is lovely, i want more of them. The second one is relaxing to read and i want more of them too.
They should have ended this manga on this volume intead if leaving us with this sad cliffhanger. They should have just made it like 'things will happen and sumi will witness utou die. He then wakes up with tears on his eyes, realizing everything is just a dream. In fear of losing utou, he starts getting dressed and calls utou to meet up. When sumi sees utou, he started running towards him, hug him, and kiss him in his lips. A deep passionate kiss. Then sumi confess his feelings towards utou they finally they got rid of every misunderstanding and such. They resign from the company they're working and live happily ever after. The end.'

I actually am fine while reading this because i have different approach towards the words 'fated pair' (read too much omegaverse XD). For me, fated pairs is a choice, not a responsibility. Its still up to you to choose if you'll follow what your body wants or not. The reason why its an urban legend is because its rare right? And why is it rare? Because probably before thet could even meet, one of them must already have a pair. See where im pointing. Its still your choice if you'll follow what your body wants and go with you fated one, or follow what your heart wants and be with the person you like (its a bonus if you're both fated and love each other)
