I’ve read another work of this author, and his character is an exact copy of Meyer from their novel, “It’s a Misunderstanding That I’m the Final Boss’s Lover”. The only difference is the setting the author put them in. This author likes including himbo male leads who are sweet, but oblivious. So he’s not in love. He’s just dumb, and likes her. Not to mention, the female lead is exactly like Jun from “It’s a Misunderstanding That I’m the Final Boss’s Lover,” too. I am very confident that the case is the same here, seeing as there are little to no differences in the personalities of the characters.
You do realize that kind the whole thing he’s they he’s dense that he cares about her and probably doesn’t love as of right now but he cares about her clearly in a romantic way and he’s doesn’t notice and is going to regret it if he because he’s dense
