I get why you're saying this, with how their past seems connected, the plot tilts towards them and he has secrets, i know... i just hope, maybe uselessly, that it won't be cliche and author is trying to take us by surprise, what else can we do? ╥﹏╥
Sorry but the blue titan just gets on my nerves, going around doing rampages without any logic, and MC not stopping him or getting furious but just slighty angry gets me even more. Like, your soldier is not only putting you into danger but also your companions, and you might fail the mission, what are you even doing as a capitan.
I mean, this genre choise is quite messy and difficult to handle, though not a disaster i think it is full of stereotype characters and plot armors: MC is the son of a dragon, has both magic and martial arts, plus a titan and is super involved in politics... idk he doesn't inspire me in any way anymore.
At first the girl thing was a shock but once you get over it you still have plot holes everywhere, the characters seem deep but are not really, the relations make no sense, the conversations are forced to look cool/cute or deep, it just tries to be everything but can't. I don't hate it, there is much worse stuff out there, but it has no substance

At first i shipped him with Soohyun but then i understood that they're not meant to be, Daon is not the type of person that could help him grow up or ever understand his actions and character so they are not suitable, hope Soohyun will meet the right one in the extras maybe,

Did ML have no one to keep in check MC's security? i know some people might think it's too much and limits his freedom, but ML can't go around causing trouble and solving old issues whitout expecting them to retailate or at least get information on why this is happening. I get you are being cautious but they literally just need to send someone to observe you from a distance to know of MC's existence. I mean, if you didn't do anything he would not be in this much trouble, even if knowing ML's weakness is an important information they wouldn't have been in a hurry to take action....
Also, i get what happened to MC was awful, but aren't there other priorities? like make him actually enjoy the present at its best without dangers lurking around?
And given how they portay this society, like a ruthless animalistic hierarchy, worse things must happen every day to many people... i feel that there are lots of ways to help relieve MC from his past, showing that things can get better, and he just choses the worst way, f*cking revenge. Idk, i am kinda disappointed with this one track brain. And the characters have a personality a bit too defined, too white and black, to be realistic. I mean, Grandpa and MC seem well developed, even red-head is pretty decent, and overall the series in not bad at all, mine is just an opinion, you can do what you want with it, ignore, acknowledge, even insult, whatever.... i wrote too much and won't answer anyone, have a nice day!
