yaoi have always had that "toxicity" on it's ingredient most of the time. the fact that it is toxic makes the characters development shine through, hence making the story interesting. heck, if these two has that "healthy" relationship the others preach so much about then what would we even be reading at this point? i reckon the story would be boring and generic.
