Cockblocks can go die!!

"Reversed roles" (dumb term since there are no fixed roles and nothing was actually reversed but whatever) is not something uncommon for Naono Bohra, so no surprises here.

If you wanna think about realistic, the fact that someone like Doumeki who loves Yashiro is very unlikely in the first place. That someone as tragic as Yashiro actually had the chance and blessing to meet a guy who he could change with. A happy ending makes more sense, because even if the manga has had its depressing and tragic parts it has always had a build up for a happy ending, as far as I can see. Exactly because we have seen yashiro's tragic life it makes sense for him to finally be at peace at the end. Whether it will be realistic or not is not determined by whether it's a happy ending or not, it's determined by how the ending and build up to the ending is done.

Exactly. Honestly, the whole story is depressing ... then it goes and ends depressing. It would be so boring.
And if people expect this to end tragically because it would be realistic ( meaning if they were in real life they would be dead because they are Yakuza) then there isn't much of a challenge for the author in this kind of ending. Any way she wrote, it would not need too much thought because tragedy is the easy route here.
The challenge for someone with talent is to create a way out for these two in a way that absolutely looks convincing. I don't need any convincing that Yashiro or Doumeki could take a bullet. This is easy to see.
That Yashiro is condemned to tragedy is something i feel since I started reading this story so I need the author to convince me of an unexpected thing. Bring on that happy ending and make me believe in it.

Agreeing a hundred percent. (I cannot thumbs up so commenting). I trust sensei to be talented enough to make us truly believe in the ending she chooses. Nevertheless, I could definitely see her choose a bittersweet ending. I don't think she is the type to kill Yashiro or Doumeki. I think it will be more like Yashiro becoming the head and Doumeki being by his side forever. That is kind of a happy ending and yet Doumeki would be sad not being able to save Yashiro from the darkness of this kind of world.

Both of the stories are interesting, but somehow none of them made me feel satisfied? Both endings are kind of lacking. They don't have established relationships and ended way too quickly. I personally rarely appreciate inconclusive endings like that. A shame, since this kind of plot is unusual.

This was really cute and I liked how it wasn't too dramatic and exaggerated. And I loved reading the comments and interviews at the end of the chapters. It gave more of an impression and depth to the story.

I feel like the transitions between the flashbacks and present wasn't really smooth and had way too much focus on the former when all I really cared about was latter. Flashbacks is always good for depth but in this case I think it was badly placed and way too messy. And a lot parts could have been cut down or was just completely unneccessary. I would have much rather seen development between the couples in the present because I personally didn't really get to feel much about them at all...

I got really into this so I'm disappointed in the confinement route it decided to take. I really don't get the reason why this was necessary. I thought it would just be a sweet story about two lonely guys who find comfort/love in each other. This just turned me off, 'cuz in the end there was no apology and if he ever wants to leave he will just be confined again. I don't care if there is rape involved or not, that's fucked up. In the end he's still tied down but it feels like this manga was trying to convey the opposite message and I don't get that.

Perfectly said. Since the kidnap situation, I couldn't enjoy the rest of it. He was horribly possessive and there was no character development. Even if the author tried to make them look cute, it still left a bad taste in my mouth.

I love super lovers but so far I think this whole memory loss part has just been unnecessary and pointless.

I liked the first half of the story (super cute), but after that it kept going downhill and I don't think the ending was satisfying. If Minoh and Junoh made up, I don't think it should have been based on a lie that Minoh believed, but Junoh telling him the truth about what happened. I'm not sure what the author was thinking by doing this. Oh well!

Doesn't it hurt to take those long nails in the ass? Haha.
